ROC TECHNOLOGIES STARS IN SUNDAY TIMES BDO PROFIT TRACK 100 - BRITAIN'S 100 MOST PROFITABLE COMPANIES

Newbury, UK - Monday 9th April 2018 – Roc Technologies has been ranked in the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table, which ranks Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits over three years.

Roc, a Newbury based transformation services provider enables public and private sector to define and deliver strategic improvements through their investment in business change, business process and technology platform and IT managed services transformation.  With over 60% of Roc employees being security cleared to SC level of above, Roc works with UK public sector organisations in defence, justice, health, higher education, and energy, as private companies in sensitive industries such as finance, insurance, pharmaceuticals and life sciences.  In 2017, Roc acquired London based City Change Management, one of the UK’s leading providers of programme and project management services and received investment from the British Growth Fund (BGF), one of the world’s leading private equity investors in growing businesses.

The league table and awards programme is sponsored by BDO and UBS Wealth Management, and is compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.  Companies had to be registered in the UK and be independent, unquoted and ultimate holding companies. Profit growth was measured by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the latest three financial years.

NOTE TO EDITORS

Profits are defined as operating profit, which consists of a company’s profit before taxation, interest, dividends and exceptional items. Profits had to exceed £3m in the latest available accounts and £500,000 in the base year. Firms had to show a rise in profits from penultimate to latest year.

The research was carried out by Fast Track between October 2017 and March 2018. The majority of companies were interviewed by telephone or in person by the Fast Track research team.
